What Stepping Stones Nigeria Does

© Robin Hammond and Ellie Sandercock

Stepping Stones Nigeria works with partner organisations in the Niger Delta to provide education, skills and hope to disadvantaged children. We believe that access to an education is every child's right and that this is the key that will unlock Nigeria's potential. Stepping Stones Nigeria also believes that every child has the right to be protected from violence, trafficking, sexual exploitation, forced labour and deserves a standard of living that is good enough to meet their physical and mental needs. We work with fantastic organisations such as the Stepping Stones Model School and the Child Right's and Rehabilitation Network (CRARN) to provide education and rehabilitate children who have been abandoned due to witchcraft stigmatisation. Our work helps to restore the health, happiness and self-dignity of each child, whilst repairing the physical and pyschological trauma inflicted whilst living on the street.
